The Big O.

Probably the strangest swatches in the world, and these took me forever! I mentioned before I cut my arm on a broken glass so I don't really want to show that so here is my hand.
From left to right we have NARS Super Orgasm illuminator, Orgasm illuminator and Orgasm powder blush.
I've posted before about my Super Orgasm illuminator but to be honest I never wear it. It's too pink for what I use it for, although I want to try about different uses for it.
I've fallen in love with my new Orgasm illuminator as I think it's a lot more natural and just gives a nice peachy, dewy glow. And of course, I absolutely love my blusher - it's one of my favourites!

What are your thoughts on the NARS products?

NARS Illuminator in Super Orgasm.

I finally caved and bought a NARS illuminator, in Super Orgasm. I think we've all got used to the rudey tudey names of the NARS products, the sales assistant in Space NK said she'd got so used to just shouting it out, and barely thought about any other meanings.

Anyway, you can see from the awkward swatch (I cut my arm, it makes swatching difficult) it's a gorgeous peachy shade with a gold sheen. I didn't even swatch any other shades of the illuminator because this is just the perfect shade for me. I love peaches, and using this under my foundation gives me such a gorgeous peachy glow which really warms up my face and improves my complexion.

This is the first illuminator I've bought from NARS and I love it. For £21.50, which is reasonable for NARS products, you get a massive amount. You really only need a pea sized amount of this.
I'm yet to try it mixed with my foundation, but I know it will look gorgeous. Has anyone else tried any of the other NARS illuminators?

NARS Orgasm & MAC Pink Nouveau

Bottom to Top: NARS Orgasm Powder Blush & MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick swatches.

I FINALLY went and bought NARS Orgasm blush. It was one of those impulse moments after work last night, I needed a little cheer up treat and I've wanted this blush for so long.
Needless to say, it really lives up to the hype! Such a gorgeous peachy pink colour with a gold shimmer. It's similar to my favourite MAC Springsheen blush, but more pink than coral.
After my make up collection post, you're probably thinking I really don't need anymore makeup. I'm really trying to cut down, especially on cheap makeup (I know that makes no sense) but instead of buying a heap of Barry M etc. makeup that I'll only wear sometimes & have only bought it because it's cheap, I'm going to spend my money wisely on things that I've wanted for ages and will actually use!

I also bought a MAC lipstick. Naughty, I know. Whenever I go to the MAC counter, I always pick up the lipsticks and blushes that I like and look at the shade on the bottom. I have noticed that I ALWAYS pick up the ones I already have. Seriously, I pick up Speed Dial about ten times! I'm drawn to the ones I love, which I guess is a good sign. Although, I think I need to branch out a bit with my shades.

As you can see, Pink Nouveau is a lovely bright magenta pink. I'm loving bright lipsticks at the moment (in case you haven't noticed!). I'm not actually wearing the lipstick in the picture, it's Topshops lipgloss in Ablaze. I didn't want to take the attention off the Orgasm blush.

I was going to ask Graeme to get me Orgasm at the airport or whatever, but I knew he would feel a bit uncomfortable asking for it at the counter!

NARS Lamu Multiple & Roman Holiday Lip Pencil.

These were my first ever NARS purchases, I've always been wanting to buy some NARS but the products are a bit on the expensive side. The multiple is £29 usually, which is a lot of money for something you've never tried before. In the end, I spotted these two products on a blog sale and snapped them up - almost unused, too. This products have made me a massive NARS fan, so I'm currently browsing ASOS for a little something else, maybe a blush.

I bought the Lamu Multiple, I've always been after a Multiple - a multipurpose stick for cheeks, lips, eyes and body. Lamu is described as a glazed apricot with a golden sparkle. It's a bit like a bronzer actually and the gold sparkle was quite obvious when I put it on my cheeks, a bit much for daytime but gorgeous for evening.
I was actually surprised about this product because although its a stick, it comes out dry and really easy to blend - more like a powder. I was expecting it to be sticky like a lipstick but it's so lovely and blendable. The swatches above show the Lamu multiple and then also it blended in the next picture. Such a gorgeous product, it would look gorgeous on tanned skin so perfect for summer.
I reckon I would probably use this most as a highlighter/bronzer on my cheekbones for when I'm going out, but also maybe on my eyes. I can imagine this looking gorgeous on darker skin, too.

The second NARS product I got was the Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Roman Holiday, a lovely light pink. After my encounters with the Topshop lip pencils I thought this would also be quite drying on my lips especially as it's quite a light colour. This is a lot more moisturising than the Topshop lipsticks, my dry lips don't need so much prep and the colour doesn't show up so much of the dryness.
The colour is lovely too, I love light pink lip colours. I never expect lip products to stay on for long (probably because i'm constantly eating...) but this is actually quite long lasting.
It's really easy to apply, the pencil nib makes it easy to get a nice lip shape especially around the cupids bow and the colour glides on.

I've really been converted to a NARS obsessive, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous - so classic and simple. The colours are both gorgeous and the quality is excellent.
What are your favourite NARS products?

ASOS Wishlist.

I, like most, got the Groupon voucher where you paid £9 for a £20 voucher. I actually got three, I bought two and my boyfriend bought me one too! So I'm now wondering what to spend my money on.
I'm not feeling the ASOS clothes at the moment, there's nothing that I want. To be honest, I haven't seen anything on ASOS clothes-wise for a while now.
I've got my heart set on a NARS blush, but there are none in stock and I don't know whether I should just wait it out and see if they get any in...
I fancy a NARS multiple (maybe in Malibu) and a NARS lipstick in Jungle Red.
I also love this Models Own polish in Pink Fizz, such a gorgeous glittery pink! I love glittery polishes but hate taking them off. I think it's worth it though. I'm considering buying a Models Own blush too, I've never tried one before but I love buying new blushes.
Finally, I'd love some cute vintage necklaces to brighten up outfits. I hardly have any necklaces now, I seem to just wear the same ones. I love these two that I've picked out, especially the peach flowery heart.

What's everyone thinking about buying?
