NOTD - PURPLE STARS

Well I finally dug out and unpacked my konad stamping stuff! Go me!! I used one of my bundle monster plates, I think it was 21 or 22, something like that. The full nail designs on the BM plates are really small, so it wouldn't cover my thumb nail without doing a double stamp, so I decided to just use the star image instead. I added some silver flashy stars and added a matte coat.

And here is the look with a coat of seche over the top:

I used a Confetti brand polish for the base coat, forgot the name! And for the stamping design I used Diamond Cosmetics Crushed Velvet.

YESTERDAY'S NOTD

Ran out of time yesterday and didn't get these posted. These were my NOTD yesterday. Again, I just built up on my previous mani of Pelican Peak Purple and Cover Girl City Lights. I added a few konad stamps and was just loving this!

PELICAN PEAK PURPLE - BLINGED UP!

I was just loving Pelican Peak Purple so much that I didn't want to take it off! I did a full mani with it and added a little bling blang to it! I layered Cover Girl - City Lights over the top. I did 2 coats of City Lights.

Guess what - I'm still not done with Pelican Beak Purple, I have changed it up yet again for today's NOTD. Pics posted soon :)

DIAMOND COSMETICS 2010 SUMMER BEACH BLOWOUT COLLECTION

Here is the new summer collection from Diamond Cosmetics. Most of you all ready know of my love for this brand. I love the formula, the colors and the prices! I also have found their customer service to be top notch as well. Their polish prices range from $2.25 - $2.50 each.

I am digging their new summer colors. While there isn't anything totally unique about them, I do still like the colors and find them all to be pretty and summery. I also love that I can get away with only two coats of this polish. I am a habitual 3 coater, but I like the fact that in a rush I could just use two coats and be on my way. These new colors were no exception.

I also love that they have actual sales and deals on their polish. A lot of the time I only see any type of savings offered if I spend any where from $50 to $75 to even $100 bucks. DC seems to always have some little special advertised on their website at all times. (I will list a couple of the current ones after my swatches.)

Loving this! What a great shade of purple! With all the neon colors coming out, I like that there is a bright yet muted shade. I couldn't wait to put this one on!

This is a pretty, almost dusty looking blue. I had to do some adjusting with my camera settings to get an accurate photo of this color, so my skin color may look a little strange.

Another one that I had to work on the settings to get it just right. Again, not an unusual color, but still very pretty.

Below you will see a couple of the specials that DC has right now. Please tell me another brand that has $8 & $9 specials going on where you still get at least 4 bottles of polish! That's unheard of. If you still haven't tried this brand, I urge you to!

NOTD - HOT PINK + HOT BLUE = HOT COMBO!

I just couldn't take off Diamond Cosmetics Hot Summer Pink last night, I was just enjoying it too much. SO I decided to modify yesterdays look with a new one. I did a funky french using Zoya's Robyn from their new Flash collection. I also used a blue glitter nail art pen to line it with for a little extra sparkle. I was really tempted to add hot pink dots on the blue part, but I restrained myself, but just barely.

Unfortunately since I didn't remove yesterdays polish, I didn't do any new swatches for today to post about. I will be showing you all the pics I got from you wonderful readers displaying your Ugly Awesome polishes.
