MAD FOR PLAID

On these nails I used a martha stewart glitter in brownstone mixed with clear acrylic. After I finished filing the nails I used a striping brush to paint on a plaid pattern. Finally I added a 3d pumpkin. This plaid pattern would be really cute using Christmas colors also.

Same idea as above just without the pumpkin.

On these nails I used acrylic in brownstone and added some festive Thanksgiving themed stickers. I also added orange and yellow dots with polish.

OPPOSITE FADE

On these nails I switched the fade colors on every other nail. I also added fimo clay leaves from kennickkreations.com

PUMPKIN FADE

This is a fade I did with acrylic in acorn and ripe plum. I made a 3d pumpkin with ez flow acryic in candy corn. First I dip my brush in the monomer and damp it out on a paper towel. Then I pick up a small ball of orange acrylic. I place it on the nail and damp my brush out again. I shape it into a pumpkin then I lightly push a cuticle pusher into the acrylic to make it look like it has ridges like a real pumpkin. I then add a tiny bit of green acrylic to make a stem. Last I add a vine with a nail art pen. Of course I finish everything off with a gel top coat.

FADE FADE FADE FADE.....

Ok so I've done a lot of fades lately. Well when you start doing them they are addicting because they are just sooooo cool! This one is done with acrylic in blackberry and mystery.

POLKA DOTS, FADE, AND FUN!

On these nails I did a fade and then switched it up by doing white acrylic with dots on the ring fingers. Doing something different on the ring fingers is such an easy way to make the nails stand out and they're just cute and fun!

PURPLE FLOWER

On these nails I added flower stickers into the acrylic. I used a small drill bit and drilled a straight line on the edge of the nail. I filled it in with the purple acrylic. To finish off these nails I added dots with nail polish.

PUMPKIN PATCH

On these nails I did a fade with acrylic in ripe plum and kooky colors. I added fimo clay pumpkins. On the ring fingers I did a 3D pumpkin with acrylic. I used a nail art pen to paint a little pumpkin vine. Now my client has a full on pumpkin patch right on her nails!

COPPER HILLS HOMECOMING

These nails are done with opi gel nail polish in Russian Navy. Gel nail polish is amazing! It looks just like regular nail polish but it lasts up to 3 weeks with no chipping! I painted a CH (Copper Hills) on the ring fingers to add some school spirit!

FABULOUS FADE

I definitely go through stages with nail art. Right now I am in the fade stage. You really have to see a fade in person it is much more vibrant and beautiful than it shows in a picture (maybe it's the photographer). This first fade is done with acrylic in hibiscus and purple passion.

This fade is done with mermaid and mystery. I also added pink stars to the ring fingers and hot pink at the tips. Very colorful!

FALL FADE

This is a fade I did with acrylic in ripe plum and acorn. I added fimo clay leaves on the ring fingers.

AUTUMN PUMPKIN

I faded two colors together on these nails. The first color is a limited edition color that can no longer be purchased called kooky colors and the darker color near the tip is ripe plum. Such a gorgeous color combo. I added little fimo clay pumpkins on the ring fingers. It was a perfect day for autumn nails because they really match what is going on outside today.

HALLOWEEN STARS

These nails are done with purple passion acrylic. The ring fingers have star ribbon and on the other fingers I added various Halloween theme fimo clay from kennickkreations.com.

These nails have a little mummy sticker on the ring finger and fimo clay dots on all of the fingers. I always cap over my stickers with acrylic so that they don't have a chance of coming off.

BLACK WIDOW

On these nails I used red acrylic in fire engine. I added a 3d black widow spider with black acrylic and then painted legs, eyes and a red spot on his back. Creeeepy!

On these nails we wanted to go with a little bit of a different color scheme for Halloween. We used red and black and added skull stickers on the ring fingers.

SKELETON SPOOKY!

On these nails I used black acrylic in nebula. Some of you have asked where I get my acrylic colors. I get most of my colors from mixing 1 part art glitter with 3 parts clear acrylic. I buy art glitters from Color My Nails school. My very favorite colors I have only been able to find through them. They are nebula, fresh lime, mermaid, barbie, coral reef, punk pink, plum loco, black hole, hot kiss, lava lamp, purple lame', mystery, and last but not least cotton candy. The art glitters can double as glitter for glitter toes. Love it!

On these nails I used little dots that I also purchased from Color My Nails School. They sell some fun stuff there and also have great prices.

These are acrylic nails with fimo clay spiders from kennickkreations.com. I painted black spider webs to make them extra spooky.

This is another design with the clay dots I love so much. I purchased them through oaktreedollshouseminiatures.com. I wish someone would make these dots in more colors because I just love them. They are too cute!
